The SC10 has all the AC10 capabilities with the following improvements:
• A digital display to show motor speed and speed references
• Setting of individual controller notch speeds via pushbuttons
• Healthy and failed states are displayed
• Lockout and resets of alarm trips
• Notch indications for Hoist-Lower
The current SC10 is a development with the same functionality as the older AC10 model, but with a new modern format and physical design. The system is now integrated, with the power, control, reference and synchronizing supply, all consolidated into an attractive enclosure.
Like a frequency controller, SC10 has direct connections for logic inputs, for speed, direction, and tacho feed-back, and protected power terminals for motor stator and rotor. It is easy to install and wire.
The status of each card is indicated with a high-intensity LED’s. The A128 Monitor Card displays speed reference and motor speed on a 2.5 digit 7- segment display. This and the other cards are individually described in separate SC10 spec sheets.
The SC10 system is based on a modular construction. This has a strong benefit to the user client, because individual cards are easy to identify and stock. The A130 amplifier has a sharp gain, and is used for hoists. The A131 amplifier has an adjustable gain and accel – decal ramps,
for travel applications. All other cards are common to both drive types.
This is the Size 1 enclosure, extending to 200 kW at 400V, and 270 kW at 525 V.
The power assembly is based on five Semipak devices. Larger sizes employ 10 disc devices, in five heat-sink cassettes.
