The A128 Monitor Card is the supervision unit of the AC10 control system. It fulfils the multiple control functions stated below.
The A128A card is connected to the A128B card via a 20 way ribbon cable. Card 128B has a 2.5 digit seven segment display that is selectable to show the speed or reference on a 100% scale. The various trips are shown on LED’s and are latched to prevent re-start until a reset button is depressed. The card uses an 8-bit micro controller PIC 16 F 783.
